Back to School Giveaway

It's almost that time of year again for school to return to session and we're giving away an awesome prize pack to help you do it in cycling style.

There is one prize pack consisting of the following items:

✰ A Female Empowerment Bracelet

✰ The DivaCup, model 1 (suitable for women under 30 who have not had a child)

✰ 2016/2017 pocket planner with artwork by Connie Haley (but it actually starts August 2015)

✰ Seven Year Pen in a lovely shade of pink and with a magical unicorn adorning it.

✰ A pocket mirror

With new classes and friends (and perhaps even a new school) you're going to have enough to keep track of without worrying about your menstrual cycle. Start using the Feby bracelet on the first day of your period and be sure to make a notation (using the cute and handy pen) in your pocket calendar of when that day is. It would be a great service to you if you also kept track of your moods and even your mucus to truly be aware of the changes that occur throughout the month..just dot down one word or two on a daily basis and you'll be better informed and prepared moving forward. The DivaCup is all you need to manage your menstrual flow and can be worn for the entire day so we sincerely hope that you enjoy the simplicity and freedom that awards you. The pocket mirror is a token to remind yourself how beautiful you are.

All you need to do to enter is tweet about the giveaway and/or follow us on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.

The giveaway is open to all residents of the planet earth.

Please help spread the word.

Happy February & Happy Feby

2014 began badly for Feby and me. In the early morning hours of a snowy Sunday in January, while I was sleeping soundly in bed and dreaming of bigger and better ways to empower women in the coming months, some lost soul with nothing better to do but cause havoc and destruction swiftly disabled my website and twitter account. The reason? To stop female advancement. Imagine that? It seems my site lured his warped mind with it's promise of liberating women from ill-informed myths and taboos and talk straight about periods and all aspects of the menstrual cycle.

Well, no anti-feminist misfit is going to stop me!

In fact, I decided to make feby.com better than before. Like my mom always said - when life gives you lemons, make lemon aid.

Welcome to the new and improved feby.com

As the new site was a necessity and not pre-planned, please forgive me it's simplicity. I'm no web developer but no thanks to mine who bailed on me in my hour of need I had to brave it unskilled and clueless.  The fact that you're reading this is thanks to the lovely people at SquareSpace and GoDaddy . Now that I'm here, alive and under control again on the world wide web, I imagine even better additions in the weeks and months to come....stay tuned.

P.S. - If there is one thing I've learned from this cyber-violation it's this; have different passwords for different accounts, make those passwords strong (special characters, combination of caps and lowercase and numbers), change those passwords at least once a year. Trust me on this. Good passwords are like sunscreen, they protect you.

New! Do-It-Yourself Kits Now Available

Kit-black-420x307.jpg

With great pleasure we announce that we now have available to purchase kits to make your own Female Empowerment Bracelets. This gives you the opportunity to save money while enjoying an even more intense experience learning about the menstrual cycle. The act of stringing the brightly coloured beads in their unique pattern engages young women more completely than buying a complete bracelet.

Stringing their own Female Empowerment Bracelet and talking about the menstrual cycle is an empowering and fun activity that captures the interest and imagination of preteen and teen girls. Learning about how their own bodies work is an essential lesson that should not be left to chance. These kits make perfect activities for:

  • Summer camp
  • Girl Guides and other such organizations
  • Birthday Parties
  • Puberty Workshops

Making bracelets has long been a favourite tradition and camp and the kids love leaving with a memory. Well, how about you give the young women in your life the gift of a friendship bracelet with their own bodies and physiology?

So go ahead, be the mother who’s brave and determined to teach her daughter(s) well; be the camp counsellor who leaves a lasting impression (and lesson) on her charges; be the teacher who shares the constant and constantly changing rhythm of the female cycle; help pass on this important information about being a woman in a fun and easy manner.

At only $4.99 per kit,  empowerment has never been more affordable.
