Happy Holidays!

As the year comes to a close, I'd like to take the opportunity to thank you, for your support, enthusiasm and belief that educating girls about their menstrual cycle and the changes that occur all month long, both physically and emotionally, is an important cause.

Indeed, it was just revealed by a study conducted by Oxford University that girls in Africa are 17% more likely to stay in school if they are given two simple things - pads to manage their menstruation and an education about puberty including menstruation. That's a pretty powerful statistic and speaks volumes about the importance of a young girl understanding her body.

Of course, it's not just African girls that need this knowledge. Girls all over the world are often left uninformed or perhaps worse, misinformed, about what exactly happens every day of the month and why.

Let's continue to change this one day at a time, one girl at a time, and persist in smashing the shame that still lingers around this most natural occurrence.

I hope you enjoy yourself this holiday season, and find time to appreciate how amazing you are.
